This index is composed from all the surnames contained within this part of the website. Clicking on a name will take you to the individuals index page for persons bearing this surname. These are shown alphabetically by forename and by date when more than one individual shares that forename or forenames. Each name is preceded by a symbol to indicate whether the person is male or female and sometimes a to indicate a photo or other additional information and is followed by their birth and death dates where known. Clicking on the name will bring up further information about that individual together, possibly, with further symbols to indicate a photograph a pdf file or a text document containing further information which can be accessed by clicking on the icon. Above the narrative there will, possibly, be a button linking to a pop-up pedigree for that person and also, if a direct descendant of one of the people shown on the charts section, a link to that chart. Any children they had will be shown below the narrative

This is still under construction but will eventually indicate all of the places associated with the Dalwood Hanns and their sub-branches, the Thorncombe, Wootton Fitzpaine and Bridport Hanns. It is a fully zoomable Google map with satellite and StreetView facilities (though I've not yet worked out how to get out of StreetView other than by using the back arrow at the top of the webpage). Clicking on a symbol will provide further information as to how that place is relevant to the Hanns
